NB! Due to the Covid-19 situation, the Embassy has introduced
some restrictions on services that require personal attendance at the Embassy.
Any person who is restricted or discouraged by ACT Health from
entering the ACT will not be able to enter the Embassy without prior approval.
Please note that such approval will only be given if your appointment is
required due to an urgent emergency situation. The same applies if you are or
have been sick during the last 14 days.
All persons attending an appointment at the Embassy will be required
to wear a face mask in line with the recommendations from ACT Health.

Lacking documents may cause delays or a rejection of your application.
The appointment duration for passport and personal number applications are 30 minutes. For retention of citizenship applications and notification to get back Norwegian citizenship it is 1 hour.
Each applicant must create an individual appointment.For example, if your spouse or child wishes to renew his/her passport during the same visit, he/she will need to create an individual appointment (before or after yours if available). If you are also lodging an application for personal number or retention of citizenship, a separate appointment must likewise be made for this.If multiple applicants arrive booked under a single appointment, only one application will be received.
