This workshop walks through how to organize your course for ASYNCHRONOUS delivery of course content using Modules in CatCourses. Providing visual organization and a welcome module for students is a research-based, best practice. Logical visual organization by week or module helps students easily understand and access weekly assignments, quizzes, videos etc. This lowers stress and cognitive load for your class participants.

This workshop covers getting set up, and using Zoom for SYNCHRONOUS class or discussion sessions, office hours and 1-1 meetings with students or colleagues. We will discuss scheduling meetings, using breakout rooms, annotating on slides and recording sessions and uploading recorded videos into CatCourses .
