During this 30-minute appointment, a pharmacist will consider your preference for pill or patch birth control and review your personal medical history and risk factors. If eligible, a pharmacist will prescribe a 12-month supply of the best birth control option for you.

Flu vaccine for those aged 65 or older

Hepatitis A and B are viruses that can cause long-lasting liver damage. Vaccination against Hepatitis A and/or B is recommended to prevent hepatitis infections.

At Moose Pharmacy, we can vaccinate individuals 6 or older against the Hepatitis viruses. Patients ages 6-17 require a prescription.

This is a multi-dose vaccine that protects against strains of Human Papilloma Virus or HPV.

At Moose Pharmacy, we can vaccinate patients from age 11 to 45 against HPV. Patients ages 11-17 require a prescription.

This vaccine offers protection against Meningitis and is often required for students entering college.

Pneumonia vaccines protect you against bacteria that can cause a pneumonia infection. There are several types of pneumonia vaccines--your pharmacist will contact you prior to your appointment to confirm the vaccine that is appropriate for you.

At Moose Pharmacy, we can provide the recommended pneumonia vaccines to individuals 6 years or older. Patients ages 6-17 require a prescription.

Shingrix prevents against shingles outbreaks. If you are at least 50 years old, you should receive the Shingrix vaccine, regardless of whether you received a vaccine for shingles in the past.

Shingrix is a 2-dose vaccine, given 2-6 months apart.

This vaccine offers protection against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (whooping cough). Patients should get a tetanus booster every 10 years starting at age 11.
