Please Note: Consultation is done on the day of procedure and not as part of a separate appointment. Together, we will choose the style and color that works the best for you!

Touch Up: Typically, Microshading/Permanent Makeup is broken into two appointments, the 2nd appointment is a touch up, done 6-8 weeks after the initial visit. This touch up appointment is very important for the best results so please make sure you book it sooner rather than later.

Color Booster: Pigment fades over time. A Color Boost procedure are for clients who have had previous permanent makeup completed by Dejah at The Glow Up Beauty Bar , and need a refresher application of pigment to perk up their color.

Ombre Microshading is a natural looking, semi permanent tattoo. This technique is only applied to the very top layer of the skin which called the epidermis. This is what makes this technique “semi permanent” Touch ups are MANDATORY after 6-8 weeks. Results can last up to 3 years. Annual touch ups are recommended for extended color retention.

PRIOR TO YOUR SESSION*

• Do not drink alcohol 48hrs prior (try to avoid alcohol all together the days leading up to your appointment date as this may causes excess bleeding which can push the pigment out, thus affecting your results)
• Discontinue use of fish oils 1 week prior
• Brow grooming is NOT required. Please avoid any type of waxing at least 2 weeks prio
• Electrolysis treatment should be undergone no less than 5 days before
• AHA/BHA products and retinoids should be avoided no less than 4 weeks prior to your session. Also avoid ANY type of products that contain any type of acids for at least 4 weeks prior
• Avoid Exfoliating and Exfoliating treatments such as microdermabrasion should not be performed within 4 weeks prior to your session
• Chemical and laser peels should be avoided no less than 6 weeks prior to your session
• Wait 2-3 weeks if you have had Botox injections
• No Aspirin, Niacin, Ibuprofen/Advil 48hrs prior to your session. Tylenol is okay

• Diabetes type 1 and 2
• High blood pressure
• Auto-immune disease, thyroid/Graves Disease
• Any medication that causes slow healing or high risk of infection
• On blood thinners

*NOT GOOD CANDIDATES*

• Pregnant or breastfeeding woman
• Patients with Diabetes, Glaucoma, bleeding disorders and in general people with any sort of illness which may cause difficulties during the healing process
• People who tend to easily hyper-pigment
• People taking any kind of medication or with any type of illness that comprises the immune system
• A person who normally spends a lot of time tanning, since UVA rays will eventually alter the pigments
• Any person under control for any existing medical condition. Consult with doctor for any kind of PMU treatment
