Getting To Know You
Perfect timeframe for the Longsnouts team to figure out which in-home training package (sometimes a class or two) will work best for you and your pup! After scheduling a time, you will receive a follow-up email or call and we can suss out an action plan.
NOTE: Initial conversation is not an in-person appointment.
Level 1 - Beginner
Building Blocks - Winter 2020
[Rolling Admission, 5 hour-long classes for $150]
In this introductory class, we create solid foundations - our Building Blocks - for partnering with our dogs in this human world. Modeled on a combination of real-world needs and the Canine Good Citizen outline, you'll learn the basics (sit, down, come, stay, loose leash walking, etc.). Newly redesigned, yet still scaleable, so appropriate for all levels, Longsnouts is excited to get this back on the calendar!
Nosework fun for all! Winter 2020
[Rolling admission, 5 classes @ 1 hr each for $150]
Nosework is a Longsnouts favorite! Focusing on science-based fun, you and your dog, you will learn ways/games to use those fabulous sniffers to everyone's advantage! Great for all types of dog, including senior, shy, or reactive. It's e-x-h-a-u-s-t-i-n-g (olfactory system takes up almost 1/3 of their brains!) and super fun.
Winter classes are *not* rolling admissions and mostly taught inside. Please make note of class dates in welcome email!
Level 2 - Intermediate
[Rolling admission, 5 classes for $150; RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org required]
Our ever-popular play card option allows for flexibility in scheduling and for our Longsnouts Family to try different classes on for size. Day/time is a ‘dummy’ time so class can be listed; please RSVP at least 48 hours in advance for any class you’d like to attend.
Can use for: Building Blocks, Nosework (if there's room), Tricks & Chill, Nice to Meet You, and Urban Manners.
