Level 1 - Beginner
Building Blocks - Spring 2021
[Rolling Admission, 5 hour-long classes for $150]
In this introductory class, we create solid foundations - Building Blocks - for partnering with our dogs in this human world. Modeled on a combination of real-world needs and several learning curricula, you'll learn the basics (sit, down, recall, loose leash walking, etc.). Newly redesigned, yet scaleable, we're excited to get this back on the calendar!
Note class is not a is not a substitute for in-depth, in-home training and we may advise as such.
Level 2 - Intermediate
[Rolling admission, 5 hour-long classes for $150]
In a hybrid Urban Manners/Polite Walking, the emphasis is working on polite walking. Depending on the week, we will introduce dogs to city noises, navigating narrow(er) sidewalks, how to focus on their human(s) with distractions, and how to enter/exit dog-friendly storefronts. Don't be surprised if 'urban agility' shows up, learning to greet new people, and more!

Our ever-popular play card option allows for flexibility in scheduling and for our Longsnouts Family to try different classes on for size. Day/time is a ‘dummy’ time so class can be listed; please RSVP at least 48 hours in advance for any class you’d like to attend.

Emergency Stop Workshop (beginner)
1 hour 30 minutes
What happens when your dog sees that squirrel across the road? Panic? Well, then this is workshop is a great place to begin learning the emergency stop. Very different than the recall (getting your dog to return to you), this workshop will work on how to get your dog to come to halt as they're running away from you. Class limited to 10 human/canine pairs.
