SELF SERVICE POLICIES
-Masks are required to be worn at all times inside the shop, you will see us wearing them too.
-The shop is limited to 5 customers at one time. We only have two tubs open for Self-Service Baths, available first come, first served.
-Only one human and one dog is permitted into the shop for Self-Service washes. We normally love seeing a whole family of helping hands, but please leave the kids at home at this time.
-Nail trims are available on a walk-in basis, please call ahead to guarantee groomer availability.
-Due to social distancing requirements, our staff will happily offer assistance from a distance, and please allow 6 feet between other patrons.
-If you or your pup are sick, please stay home!
FULL-SERVICE GROOMING POLICIES
I warrant that my dog is current with the vaccinations required by law, and that my dog is healthy to the best of my knowledge. If pet is hurt or becomes ill, The Soggy Dog LLC. has permission to call or take pet to veterinarian of our choice if pet's vet is inaccessible; or administers medication; or gives other advisable attention, with our discretion and judgment, and such expenses will be paid promptly by owner unless injury is direct result of negligence of The Soggy Dog LLC. We will not be held responsible for any sickness or injury caused by the pet to itself during grooming. Maine Soggy Dog LLC. is not responsible for any accidental death of pet of the nature of pre-existing health condition or natural disasters (fire, storm, flood, etc.).
The Soggy Dog LLC. will not be held responsible for clipper burn and/or minor nicks resulting from grooming of matted, neglected coats or for irritation caused by removing coat from pets possessing mild to severe skin allergy, nor will we be held responsible for stressful effects grooming may have upon an elderly pet.
Grooming prices reflect estimates and are subject to change based on coat condition, temperament, time, and other unforeseen situations that arise, additional fees will apply. We also reserve the right to refuse service to customers whose pet may pose a threat to us or to the other pets left in our care, whether it be an aggression problem, health problem, or parasite problems. We will call/text you 30 minutes prior to your dog being ready for pickup. We ask that you pick your dog up at that time so the next guest can enjoy the same 1-on-1 grooming experience. If you are later than 20 minutes past the time you are asked to arrive, a late fee of $25 will be charged at time of checkout.
Owner agrees to pay for any property damages caused by their pets.
CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING, LATE-ARRIVAL & NO-SHOW POLICIES:
We love hanging out with your dog. It's fun! When someone doesn't show up for their appointment, it’s not fun. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, let us know at least 24-hours prior, and your deposit will be refunded or applied to your rescheduled appointment. With less than 24-hours notice, your deposit is non-refundable. We want you to keep your grooming appointment just as much as you do, so call with any questions or concerns, and we'll see what options we can offer you.
If you are going to be late, please give us a heads up. If we don't hear from you within 15 minutes of your scheduled appointment time, we will consider you a No-Show, and your deposit is non-refundable. We will gladly book you for a new appointment, and add you to our cancellation list.
I agree that I have read and understand the rules and conditions for The Soggy Dog LLC. Grooming. I understand that my dog, my guests, or I may be videotaped or photographed and that these images become the property of The Soggy Dog LLC. I agree to release, hold harmless, acquit, will indemnify and forever discharge the corporation from all, and in all manner of action and actions, suits, damages, judgments, executions, claims, and demands whatsoever, in law or in equity, which I or any other person I have with me during grooming at Maine Soggy Dog
You will receive a text message reminder before your appointment
