People often file their own trademark application and then receive an Office Action with rejections or issues related to the application. This session can be used to discuss options for responding.

This session is intended for people who have a registered U.S. trademark, or a trademark application that has been approved for publication and a third party is attempting to cancel or oppose the registration by filing a petition to cancel, or a petition to oppose. Attorney Sharon Adams will explain the Trademark Trial & Appeal Board procedure and options for responding to a petition to cancel, or a petition to oppose.

The Invention and Patent Strategy Session is designed for inventors, entrepreneurs and emerging businesses with an invention or product they wish to bring to market. Registered Patent Attorney Sharon Adams will discuss your invention and the advantages and disadvantages of various patent application options, including provisional patent applications, non-provisional utility patent application, and design patent applications.
