Pistol Permit Class - Classroom Online

4 hours @ $150.00

This class follows a standard curriculum that is required by the State of Connecticut to obtain your pistol permit. It covers basic knowledge of pistols, ammunition types, operation, proper handling and cleaning. We will spend 4 hours in class on ZOOM. You will schedule your hands range time individually after the classroom has been finished. You need to book 5 days prior to the date the class is held to get your package in the mail. If you book less then 5 days you need to pick up your class package.

Pistol Permit Class - Public Group

8 hours @ $150.00

This class follows a standard curriculum that is required by the State of Connecticut to obtain your pistol permit. It covers basic knowledge of pistols, ammunition types, operation, proper handling and cleaning. The classroom portion of the class is followed by the live fire/range portion. Lunch is included. Plan on the full 8 hour day. Maximum people in class is 4. If you need a class for more then 4 people, please call or email.

National Train A Teacher Day - Gun Safety Seminar 9am to noon

This class we will be offering NRA New Shooter Seminar. If you are curious about firearms, but have little or no exposure to them, this is a great overview. We will be covering Safety, storage, types of firearms, ammunition, what to expect on the range, and more. This will be a 2 hour classroom seminar with hands on training. Practical Fundamentals Skill Builder

8 Hour Class - Approx. 200 round +/- This is not a basic handgun class. It is focused on students who run a semi-auto pistol with iron sights or a red dot. Students must have good firearm safety, including trigger finger and muzzle discipline. Students need to be solid with the operation of their handgun, be comfortable loading, unloading, locking the slide back, drawing from and returning to the holster. Instructor Pre-Course Qualification for NRA Basic Pistol

1 hour 30 minutes @ $65.00

This class will help you evaluate what you might need to work on prior to NRA Basic Pistol Instructor. We will be going over all the pre-qualification steps to attend the NRA Basic Pistol Instructor Class. We will cover the qualification process for becoming a NRA instructor. What is expected skill sets you will need to pass the course. You will also get a $65 credit towards your instructor class. You must bring your own gun and ammo to this class.

Private Lesson

Gun Handling and Shooting.

1 hour 30 minutes @ $85.00

This is an hour and a half long course that will help you learn how to safely handle a firearm. Did you get a new gun that you want to become more familiar? Are you trying to decide if guns are for you? Either way this class is for you. This class shows you the safety mechanisms, how to load, unload, and handle a gun safely. This is both classroom and range time. If you are bringing your own gun you will need to bring your own ammo.

Find Your Perfect Gun

This class is for new pistol permit holders or shoppers who want to figure out what their "next" gun will be. In this "try it before you buy it" course we will be finding what you like, what you don't and what truly fits your needs. We will be cataloging what you like and what you don't like about each gun. Guns range from pocket carry guns to full size target guns. Guns and ammo are included in the price.

Individualized Training

1 hour @ $65.00

Appropriate for all levels of shooters, we offer one-on-one instruction in 60 minute increments. This can be classroom or range time or a combination of both. All the successful people have coaches, let me help coach you to your next level of confidence. Just want to be more comfortable handling your firearm? Looking for some practice from the holster? Looking to be able to practice steel or movers? We have you covered.

Pistol Permit Class - One on One

This is the safety class requirement for the CT permit process. You are scheduling the classroom portion of the class. Once this is done we will schedule the live fire portion. The total time for this class is up to 8 hours. It covers basic knowledge of pistols, ammunition types, operation, proper handling and cleaning.
