A short and sweet meet & greet, perfect for your little ones. Come to our private facility in North Oshawa and feel like a VIP. We will introduce you to some of our raptors up close and personal and you will meet a variety of species of hawks and falcons. Make learning fun and unforgettable.

In this 2 hour hands on workshop you'll learn about falconry and hunting with a bird of prey. We will cover avian biology and husbandry, do some lure swinging, learn about equipment, review the regulations pertaining to falconry in Ontario with a strict focus in ethics and stewardship. Learn the daily routine of caring for birds of prey, meet a several species of hawks and falcons before getting hands on by taking the raptors out to fly.

Informative and interactive, this 1 hr falconry experience is sure to thrill. Learn about the ancient sport of kings and natural history while getting up close and personal with a raptor. Meet several species of hawks and falcons. Participants will have the opportunity to call a Harris' hawk to land on your gloved fist.

$80 plus HST/person- up to 5 people
