Hello,
As of May 27, 2020 I am following Provincial recommendations from WorkSafeBC and offering either video or telephone meetings only.
After you select a time, you'll choose either a video or telephone meeting. If you choose telephone, I will call you at the start of our meeting. If you choose video, your confirmation email will include a link to Zoom Video Communications. After you click on the link, your web browser will open and ask you to allow the Zoom Application to start. If you do not have the Zoom Application, the browser will ask you to download and install the Application (this is a safe thing to do) and then start the meeting.
When working online together, here are a few tips to enhance the call. Some of these are not possible and that's totally fine.
- Earbuds with a microphone on the cord is useful. It might be easier for you to hear me and vice versa, plus what I say is even more private and confidential.
- A private room without interruption would be great, but sometimes this isn't feasible - which is ok.
- Positioning the camera on your computer or device at eye level helps so we can see each other better.
None of these suggestions are required, but we're just trying to optimize our time together.
Thank you for booking a meeting with me. I look forward to talking with you,
James
