An Intro to Ashtanga.
We will be learning the Primary Series of Ashtanga yoga.
Each week, classes will build on the last, creating a natural practice progression.
Ashtanga is a very dynamic and athletic form of yoga, made up of 6 different series. Each series with a fixed order of postures. It is rooted in vinyasa, the flowing movements between postures, with a focus on energy and breath.
It promotes mental clarity and inner peace.
This practice will be accessible to most.
