Scheduling Policy (please tick the box to indicate you have read and agreed to these conditions)

- Sessions

Please be aware that I have a 24 hour cancellation and reschedule policy. To avoid forfeiting the fee for your session, please provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice to make changes to your appointment.

When you book you will receive a confirmation email that has a link you can use up to 24 hours ahead of your booking to reschedule the session time.

You will also receive a reminder 48 hours ahead of your session, which will give you 24 hours to reschedule if necessary.

- Workshop Sessions

Workshops are offered on the advertised dates. If for whatever reason the date/s need to be changed I am committed to giving you as much notice as is reasonable in the circumstances (these are unpredictable times!).

Cancellations and Refunds

I prefer not to accept cancellations for individual sessions, in-person programs workshops or packages.

Often the urge to cancel relates to your feelings of vulnerability and resistance to working through your issues. I am always happy to work with you in different ways that feel more aligned with your current needs. It is my ongoing commitment to work towards making all therapeutic processes as safe and supportive as possible for you. I ask you to honour your commitment to yourself and the therapeutic process when you have committed to sessions.

I will make exceptions to this rule for the following reasons:

1. If you experience a significant unforeseen crisis. Please contact me to discuss if an unexpected crisis occurs.

2. If you experience unexpected financial hardship. Please contact me to discuss your situation.

3. If we are not a good therapeutic fit for working together. I understand that sometimes this happens. I try to ensure that we explore the dynamic of our relationship during our initial conversations & meetings prior to making a significant commitment to therapeutic work together. If however, at any stage you feel uncomfortable with my conduct or confused about the nature of the work we are doing together, please contact me to discuss how we can resolve the situation.

If we agree to cancel your booking, I reserve the right to retain 50% of the cost of the remaining commitment. You will be fully responsible for payment of any services you have received up to that point.

All product purchases, including ebooks, hard copies, self-study programs, group program deposits and payments are non-refundable.

Session Location and Entrance

In-person sessions are held at the Mountain Room in the SOHO Arts Centre located at 14 Weld Street, South Hobart. The entrance door to the Mountain Room is located at the Cascade Road side of the old sandstone building (the old school house). There is only one entrance on this side of the building. When you knock on the outer door I will be able to hear you from inside the Mountain Room.

If you drive to your session, the easiest car park is located on the Cascade Road side of the building. Keep driving through the first car park off Weld Street, around the corner of the sandstone building (through a narrow section of driveway) to the second carpark.

If you are unsure where to go for your first session, call or text me on 0413 031 675 when you arrive at SOHO Arts, and I will show you the way in.

Video-link and Phone sessions

If you are unable to make it to the session in person I am happy to offer video-linked or telephone sessions.

Please let me know ahead of time so I can send you a video-link.

* Note - unless otherwise arranged, workshops will not be offered as video or phone sessions.

Privacy and Confidentiality

All information you provide in your intake form and in sessions stays confidentially between you and me with the exceptions of mandatory reporting requirements.

* According to Australian law, I am mandated to report any situations that involve your disclosure of any intention to harm yourself or another person, or any situation involving children who have been exposed to harm or are at risk of harm.

I may also discuss your de-identified information with my clinical supervisor if I feel that I need a second-opinion about our therapeutic direction or processes.

Please feel free to ask me any questions about the limits of confidentiality or mandatory reporting.
