Individual Bike Safety presentations are approximately 20 minutes in length. They are done by Safe Community Wood Buffalo in partnership with RCMP and Bylaw Services. In the presentation the kids learn how to properly fit their bike helmet, learn the importance of protecting their head and brain, safe riding and bike check tips as well as proper hand signals.

To host a rodeo with your class or school takes a bit more time and organization as the kids will have to have their bike present at the school and is a more hands-on safety experience. Stations are set up for the students to circulate in groups. The first station being the helmet fitting where they receive a small presentation about the importance of protecting their head and brain. They then proceed to have their helmets properly fitted and can practice their hand signals on a mini roadway setup. Things can be added as well such as bike washing and decorating but will depend on if the rodeo is taking place in a gymnasium or parking lot. Upon completion of the rodeo the students receive an official bike license to take home.
