CrossFit Ignis - Nutritional Coaching (Follow up)
For our on-going Nutritional Coaching clients - weekly follow up meetings are required.
Note: An 8 hour fast is strongly preferred prior to taking this test.
A biometric screening provides a clinical assessment of key health measures. These results may be used to identify certain health conditions, such as diabetes and heart disease, or to indicate an increased risk for these conditions. Using a finger stick, blood samples are processed onsite, and the participant will be given immediate feedback.
Cardio Metabolic Testing
Metabolic Testing - VO2 Max Test
This test provides information around peak VO2, anaerobic threshold, how fats and carbohydrates are used during exercise, muscle composition including Type I (slow twitch) vs Type II (fast twitch), as well as an insight into the overall cardiovascular health of each participant.
Metabolic Testing - RMR Test
Resting Metabolic Rate Test - you must fast for at least 4 hours prior to this test and it is recommended that you not partake in rigorous exercise for 24 hours prior
The RMR test provides a baseline metabolic rate for the individual when the body is at rest and can help answer the question of whether a person’s metabolism is “broken” or too low. The RMR test is very useful for weight loss clients who are trying to establish a nutrition
Metabolic Testing Combo Package - RMR + VO2 Max
For the Resting Metabolic Rate Test An 8 hour fast is strongly preferred prior to taking this test.
VO2 Max Test will be completed after the RMR Test
