This workshop will be in a huge building in Central Swindon that has a variety of rooms, staircases and corridors. Multiple distractions and blanks will be in these searches. Can you read the difference between interest and odour? This workshop will help you clear areas confidently. Marie has had 30 years experience working and training Police Dogs and more recently competetive scent dogs. Search areas are accessed via stairs. 3 handlers per workshop. Odour will be gun oil.

Deep and difficult hides require the dog to be a good problem solver and have tenacity. Your dog will need to be very confident on odour. . Marie has had 30 years experience working and training Police Dogs and more recently competetive scent dogs. Search areas are accessed via stairs. Only 3 handlers per workshop.

This workshop will be in a huge building in Central Swindon that has a variety of rooms, staircases and corridors. I will set up whatever level of trial that you wish. You will work this under trial conditions and I will video it. We will then review the videos as a group. Search areas are accessed via stairs. 3 handlers per workshop.

If bringing non competing dogs, please bear in mind you may be asked to leave if they are barking as I have houses nearby.
The odour will be Gun Oil.
The venue will mostly be indoors or undercover.
There is sometimes machinery noise or spraying from an adjacent unit, cows also sometimes come to watch.
There is sometimes shooting in nearby fields.

This will be a dog gathering for clients of Nosework Dogs. We will have a 90 minute Q&A on odour, how we prepare it, how to store it etc. There will be a quiz. The bar will be open but feel free to bring any snacks or nibbles. The venue is Goatacre village hall. Everyone welcome (partners too). 2pm to 5pm.
