Services (except permitting) are only provided for City of Alpharetta citizens. If your mailing address says Alpharetta, but are in the police jurisdiction of Johns Creek, Milton or Roswell you will need to visit your police jurisdiction.

All services require a valid state/federally issued photo ID.

Any Georgia or out-of-state agency/business wanting a background check on Georgia applicants for employment, licensing or any other non-criminal justice purposes must use the on-line Georgia Applicant Processing Service (GAPS) (https://ga.state.identogo.com/ata).

      10 minutes @ $50.00

      Required for all managers/supervisors, servers and bartenders.

    • Fingerprint Cards - Two (2) printed FBI: FD 258 cards

      15 minutes @ $30.00

      Fingerprint Cards for City of Alpharetta residents only.

    • Door to Door Sales Permit - Permit is only valid for 30 days

      30 minutes @ $100.00

      Door to Door Sales Permit - Permit is only valid for 30 days

    • Massage/Spa Work Permit

      10 minutes @ $50.00

      Massage Permit - Only required if you are not a state licensed massage therapist.
