With the Basic Life Support blended learning option, you'll have the opportunity to take American Red Cross BLS online course, and participate in in-person skills sessions. This way, you can learn at your own pace and hone your skills with an instructor in a group setting.

With the Basic Life Support and First Aid blended learning options, you'll have the opportunity to take American Red Cross BLS online course, and participate in in-person skills sessions. This way, you can learn at your own pace and hone your skills with an instructor in a group setting.

Participants must successfully complete the online portions of the course, including the final written exam before attending the skills session. A class that has filled will not be seen on the calendar.

This course will train instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid, CPR and AED courses. In order to participate in this course, you must possess a current basic-level American Red Cross Adult CPR/AED (or higher level) certification or equivalent (see course description) and be at least 16 years of age on the last day of the instructor course.

The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED blended learning course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and infants. The online course must be completed prior to attending the classroom portion of blended learning.

To begin the Adult First Aid/CPR/AED blended learning course:

STEP 1: Sign up for your Adult First Aid/CPR/AED blended learning class below. You will receive a link in your confirmation email.
STEP 2: Once you finish your online portion, print the certificate of completion and bring it to your skills session
STEP 3: Arrive to your session and practice your skills with one of our instructors. Upon completion you will receive your Adult First Aid/CPR/AED certificate.
