Due to COVID-19, NHS Spay and Neuter Center may need to unexpectedly close. We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause, but will attempt to reschedule cancelled appointments as soon as we are able.
*** Due to COVID-19 CDC guidelines the following procedures will be followed***
Check In
- ALL clients will be required to wear a face mask in order to enter the building.
- Only FOUR public members will be allowed in the lobby at one time.
- Check in will begin no earlier than 7:15am.
- ONE adult per household can accompany the pet into the lobby: no individuals under the age of 18 years.
- Please follow markers on the ground to assist in social distancing – 6 feet apart.
- Please keep pet(s) in your car until given authorization to retrieve pet(s).
Check Out
- ALL clients will be required to wear a face mask in order to enter the building.
- Only FOUR public members will be allowed in the lobby at one time.
- Check out will begin no earlier than 4:15pm.
- Once the first FOUR patients have been discharged the next FOUR clients will be allowed into the building to receive discharge instructions. This process will continue until all patients have been discharged.
- ONE adult per household will be allowed into the lobby for discharge: no individuals under the age of 18 years.
- Please follow markers on the ground to assist in social distancing – 6 feet apart.
Due to our new procedures we anticipate the check in/ check out process to take longer. We thank you for your patience. Please read email reminder in its entirety for other important check in and check out information.
Note: Dogs weighing 100+ pounds will be assessed an additional fee at the time of service.
Dogs that are cryptorchid will be assessed an additional fee at the time of service.
If needing to schedule multiple appointments for the same day, please call the clinic to schedule as a 50% deposit is required at the time of appointment schedule.
Feral cats accepted Monday-Wednesday ONLY, no appointment needed. Cats must be in raccoon size traps, and only 2 cats per household per day accepted.
All animals associated with a rescue should call the clinic to schedule an appointment.
