Before we begin, I invite you to place your hands on your heart. Soften your gaze, and take 3 deep breaths in through the nostrils and exhale with a gentle H-A out of the mouth. I always like to begin with asking my students and clients~ HOW are YOU breathing?

The following information is to guide you before our time together.
If you are coming to a session in person, please make sure you are wearing comfortable clothing, bring water and a journal. If you are joining from your own space please set up a space where you will not be interrupted, bring the above items and be prepared to lay down either on a yoga mat, floor or bed. I also recommend having a blanket, pillow, and eye mask nearby to support the experience.
The breath work, ritual and soul sessions are different types of self healing experiences.
The breath work is somatic (out of the thinking mind) and into your body and nervous system~ which has the potential to release ruminating thoughts, old outdated patterns/stories, etc. Your nervous system can hold unresolved trauma, stress and can lead to dis regulation or repetition of patterns (fight, flight, freeze, etc). When your nervous system is constantly working overtime, challenges in all areas of your life can occur. This breath work practice is ONE pathway that can support you in accessing and releasing the stress, old emotions, trauma etc. from the nervous system moving you into a different state of consciousness and bringing you to a deeper state of connection to self and love.
When you heal the nervous system, you can heal the emotional weather that has taken up space in all areas of your life~ this is when and where the authentic you can blossom.
The active breath work used in sessions is a 3 part circular pranayama in the lineage of my teacher David Elliott~ this is a mouth breathing practice designed to activate intense emotional responses.
In session we blend breath work, music, and sound healing to produce a cathartic emotional release. The release can take many forms: moving the body, screaming, crying, humming, sighing, laughing...
All is allowed and welcomed in this space.
During group and 1:1 sessions we will discuss your intentions for breath work (or the other modalities), create a sacred container, active breath work, grounding meditation and integration. If you are in person tea and snacks will also be provided.
Your breath is truly your connection to your life experience. Without your breath, you would not be here. This practice allows you access to reconnect to your life force energy (chi, shakti, etc) and use that to create a life you love instead of staying in patterns of overwhelm, overworked, disconnected, etc.
Options include:
Virtual or In person 1:1 Root + Rise~ 6 weeks of Rooted Soulful Support~
Ideal for individuals who prefer 1:1 or who have a specific challenge, pattern, limiting belief, trauma they want to work through. This is a series of 2 60 min breath, somatic and intuitive support followed by an integration with a 45 min distant energy and intuitive channeling session. This is an ideal entry point for this work and offers an affordable option if you are not able to commit to the rooted soul container.
Virtual or in person Individual Rooted Soul Sessions~these are a series of 3 or 6 ~90 min sessions over the course of 3 or 6 months. Ideal for individuals who desire a customized pathway to focus on multiple challenges, patterns, limiting beliefs, etc. This includes subconscious work utilizing hypnosis and nlp along with breath, sound, energy, and more. Between sessions individuals will be given tools to practice and implement in their everyday lives (ie: hypnosis, breath practices, meditations, movement, and more) along with text/voice memo support from Melissa. This is for the individual who is ready to go DEEP and commit to a new way of BEING...
Breath work, sound, hypnosis/nlp, somatic exercises and working with the inner voice/intuition are deep and powerful self healing tools that have been life changing for me. I am honored to hold space for YOU and share these tools with you on your journey home to your heart.
