CPR skills are applicable to any General setting. Students will learn rescue techniques for adults, children, and infants.

The Heartsaver First Aid course trains participants first aid basics for the most common first aid emergencies, including how to recognize them, how to call for help, and how to perform life saving skills.

Who should take this course?
The AHA Heartsaver First Aid Course is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements.

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Online is the eLearning portion of the Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED blended learning course and is designed to teach students the cognitive information needed for first aid, CPR, and AED training. Perform high-quality CPR for an adult
Describe how to perform CPR with help from others
Give effective breaths by using mouth-to-mouth or a mask for all age groups
Demonstrate how to use an AED on an adult
Recognize elements of common injuries

Heartsaver First Aid Online is the eLearning portion of the Heartsaver First Aid blended learning course, designed to teach students the cognitive information needed for first aid training. Upon completion of the online portion, students must complete a hands-on session with an AHA BLS or Heartsaver Instructor. Upon successful completion of both portions of the course, students receive a Heartsaver First Aid course completion card, valid for two years.
