Thank you for booking with In-Balance Physiotherapy and Pilates.
We know this has been a difficult time for our country and the world, and as we slowly emerge from lockdown, we would like to let you know we are doing everything we can to ensure the safety of your health and our team.
Firstly, the wellbeing and health of you, our patients, is still our utmost priority, and we are endeavoring to provide you with the best care we can under these unusual circumstances.
We are now open to in-house visits for new and old patients, and virtual visits for those that would like to continue our online physio and Pilates sessions.
**Please note that for the latter, that only existing patients can make "virtual" appointments.**
All virtual sessions are done via Zoom. If you are an existing patient and don't have a Zoom account, please create one. Here is the link and will take you a couple of minutes to set up.
Links to the sessions will be individually delivered to you by the physiotherapist in charge of that particular session via email or Whatsapp.
If you have any questions or issues about links, please contact the physiotherapist that you booked with. You can do so by replying to your confirmation email or contacting them directly via Whatsapp.
For in-house appointments, we will be following strict hygiene protocols.
If you have a fever, cough, difficulty breathing, Seek medical care early. Stay at home if you feel ill, seek medical attention, and always call in advance.
What to Expect:
For brand our new patients, we would kindly ask that you arrive just before your scheduled appointment, and wait outside the door until we are ready to let you in. This is in accordance with social distancing practices.
Here at In-Balance Physiotherapy, we are here to get to the root of your problems and injuries and to speed up the healing process as quickly as is humanly possible. Although we would love to wave a "magic wand," and for you to walk out of the rooms healed, there will be a process in determining your diagnosis and treatment.
Your physiotherapist will assess your needs at the first appointment and suggest a plan for treatment and management. This may include onward referral for diagnostic tests, specialist opinions, or referral to a fellow allied health professional where deemed appropriate. Our team is dedicated and caring and will strive to find the best solution for YOU!
What to Wear:
Please wear a cloth face mask and comfortable clothing. Should you forget a mask, we have single use masks for purchase at our reception for R10.
We have gowns and shorts which are used once and then washed and ironed, ensuring that your safety is put first at all times.
