To continue providing you with the best experience and exceptional results, I will be adjusting my pricing and updating some services effective March 1st. These changes reflect the rising costs of products, the value of my expertise, and the enhancements I’m making to ensure top-tier care.
If you’d like to book at the current rates, I encourage you to schedule your appointment before February 28th.

Booking & Payment Policy
- When scheduling, please select the correct appointment and all necessary add-ons. Failure to do so will result in a canceled appointment—this policy is strictly enforced.
- Accepted Payments: Debit/credit cards and Zelle (for existing clients only). Cash is encouraged.
- Not Accepted: Cash App or Apple Pay.
- Please come prepared to complete your payment at the appointment—leaving to retrieve funds is not permitted.

I’m honored to care for your locs! The health and integrity of your hair are my top priorities. Please review the guidelines below to ensure a seamless booking experience.
New vs. Existing Clients
- New Client Services – For clients who have never been serviced by Ming Marie or have not had an appointment in six months or longer.
- Existing Client Services – For clients who maintain regular appointments (within four months) and have an established maintenance plan with me.
Add-Ons
- High Density Add-On: Required for clients with thicker-than-average hair and/or 100+ locs.
- Mid-Back and Waist Length and longer: Required for clients with hair reaching mid-back to waist and/or longer
- 8+ Week Add-On: Required for clients who have not been seen in 8+ weeks or longer but less than 6 months.
- Scalp Treatment- For those suffering from scalp issues like excessive dandruff or seborrheic dermatitis (required for those with scalp issues, if dermatologist has prescribed shampoo and/or oil, please bring to appointment.)
Booking Guidelines – MUST READ!
- Appointments open on the 20th of each month at 7 AM for the following month. You may also book your next appointment before leaving the salon.
- All appointments require a deposit at booking, which is NON-REFUNDABLE (deposit amounts vary by service).
- Grace Period: Clients have a 10-minute grace period. Arriving after this will result in a canceled appointment.
- Rescheduling: Clients must reschedule at least 48 hours in advance. Any changes made within 48 hours will result in a 50% charge of the service. This applies if you need to reschedule due to arriving late.
- No-Shows: Will be charged 100% of the service fee. After two (2) no-shows, you will no longer be able to book appointments with me.
- Consultations are REQUIRED for all color services and starter locs. Please complete a consultation before booking these services.
- No kids or extra guests are allowed in the salon.
