Our kittens receive their first vaccinations and deworming treatments at 4 weeks of age, or approximately 1 pound of weight. They will need repeated vaccinations every two to three weeks, until they are four months of age.

Repeated kitten vaccines and weight checks will be needed for our foster kittens every two to three weeks, until they complete their vaccination series (usually around four to five months of age). Adult cats will need a second FVRCP booster approximately one month after their first vaccination. Please provide us with the names you are using to identify your kittens, if they were not already named. If your kittens are approaching 2 lbs. of weight, we will schedule their altering appointment.

This appointment type is for hospice cats for a regular check-up or if the foster has medical concerns about their hospice cat. Depending on the doctor's daily schedule, you may be able to wait for the exam or it may need to be a drop-off appointment. If you have questions about scheduling, Please email RVTBecky@asapcats.org.
