In the session we'll make Probiotic Cucumber Lemonade, Tepache w/ a twist (a drink make from fermented pineapple rind), a botanical take on Smreka (an Eastern European drink) that will smell and taste similar to gin (without the alcohol) and a Rhubarb & Watermelon Fizz.
This is a 2.5 hour session and after, all of your summer sipping will be sorted!
This is a one-off session and places are limited to 10, so if you want to learn how to make these delicioulsly refreshing drinks.

In a one hour, 1-2-1 session, learn basic principles of making successful fermented food or drinks and make one ferment of your choice.
Choose from the following:

Learn about the history of kombucha and how to brew your own, including 1st and 2nd ferment, bottling and storage. Also learn my top tips for safely opening fizzy bottles.
You'll receive a tried and tested recipe to keep along with a flavour grid to help provide some inspiration for those 2nd ferments.

Learn to make the staple fermented favourite, sauerkraut. I'll teach you the simple formula for creating delicious sauerkraut. We'll also cover the basics of making salt brine used to lacto-ferment veg or fruit.
We'll discuss the process of lacto-fermentation--and you'll learn what to look out for, as well as how to consistently create reliable probiotic and prebiotic rich ferments.
