Hepatitis A is a highly contagious liver infection caused by the hepatitis A virus. It spreads from contaminated food or water, or contact with someone who is infected. This is a blood test that can tell whether you have been infected with the virus that causes hepatitis A.

Hepatitis B is a serious liver infection caused by the hepatitis B virus (​HBV). This test looks for hepatitis B surface antigens in your blood. The test is used to find out whether you have a recent or long-standing infection from HBV.

Requires both parties to be present. Mother's test is a blood sample taken from a vein in the arm. Alleged father's test is a buccal swab. Both must have a Government-issued ID/Passport and wear masks while on the premises. Fetal age must be at least 10 weeks old to perform this test.

The mother's DNA is isolated in the blood, and what remains is that of the child's, which is then compared to the buccal swab DNA.

Herpes simplex virus type 2 (HSV-2) is the cause of most genital herpes. Now, HSV-1 has become an important cause and represents even about 30% of genital herpes in some countries. For HSV antibody testing, a blood sample is obtained by inserting a needle into a vein.

This blood test may exhibit interference when a sample is collected from a person who is consuming a supplement with a high dose of biotin (also termed as vitamin B7 or B8, vitamin H, or coenzyme R).
