Maricopa County Animal Care & Control provides quality care
and services to the animals and people of Maricopa County. Our shelter is at
critical capacity and to ensure we have appropriate space for the animals
arriving daily, we are requiring an appointment to turn stray or owner-surrender animals into our facility.
The Arizona Humane Society accepts all stray animals who are
sick, injured, or abused. Please contact them directly at 602-997-7585 ext.
3800. You can also bring sick or injured stray animals to the Arizona Humane
Society Sunnyslope Campus 9226 N. 13th Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85021
between 9 AM to 5 PM daily. For more information visit: https://www.azhumane.org/report-an-injured-stray/
If you have a stray or owner-surrendered animal, please
secure your appointment time below. Animals will not be accepted over the
counter without a confirmed appointment. Only one animal may be surrendered at each appointment. If you have more than one animal, you must make a separate appointment for each.
Additional information and resources for rehoming your pet due
