Classes will be held via livestream (Zoom). Class links are sent out
after signup. Cost is $8 for weekly drop-in (group) classes; private lessons /

Late signups / missed classes: Fear not! Students will have cloud access to any class they have paid for. It's also general additional practice!).
Recording: Please note that the class is recorded for archival purposes to allow students to have future access to the class via a cloud link. Students can opt to have their camera on or off at any time. Students must acknowledge / consent to the recording in order to take each class. The video feed will be focused on the instructor but occasionally the screen may display small thumbnails of the class. Archival recordings will not ever be available publicly.
Muting upon entry: Students will be automatically muted during the class due to avoid sound overload! Depending on the class size and particular exercise, the instructor may be able to allow questions or ask for volunteers to demonstrate a particular step. If you have a question during a class, please use the 'raise your hand' feature that zoom offers. If time allows the question will be fielded if time allows in a particular class, but instructor cannot guarantee attention for large attendance classes.Class length: All classes will begin approx 10 min after the posted start time (leaving the first few minutes to allow people to find their way in to the zoom studio).
Class dates/times/sign-ups/bookings: All class times are EST (Eastern Standard Time). Please calculate your time zone conversion accordingly! Payments accepted: Square & Paypal (all major credit cards).
Ages: classes are geared towards adults & kids 12+, however students of all ages can join!
Refunds/credits: in case of a technical glitch, a class may be rescheduled or filmed and uploaded / made available for future streaming. Students will receive a credit for any class not able to be rescheduled. Due to the nature of this particular class series, no makeup classes are offered (any and all missed classes can be accessed by the student via an archive link).What you need: (1) an internet connection (ie high speed home internet), (2) a small space to dance (I teach from a 4'x4' square in my home studio), and (3) shoes: either tap shoes, sneakers, jazz shoes, socks...something comfortable!About the instructor: Eli Newsom is the creator of the popular instructional tap dance series Tap Dance Made Easy. Since the first release in 2005, there are now 10 full-length videos available through this website and are highly rated on Amazon.com. Eli specializes in teaching adults with no previous experience as well as experienced dancers interested in improving their technique/sounds in a fun, supportive environment.
