We assess the way you stretch by using repetition, long holds and using props. Sun salutations are part of the process but not the main focus. Inversions are part of the curriculum but you do not have to go upside down. From stress, stretch, strength to stability, these classes target bone density and celebrate the slow steady build to advanced poses.

Wednesday Deep Stretch asks you to identify the pauses between the breath and to slow down and stay with the feedback. Is your muscle really tight? Let's pause and regroup in another way using a strap. Do you have an old injury? Make sure I am aware so we can be sensitive to your range of motion. We will make relaxation the goal with gentle stretching to soothe the neck, shoulders, back, hips and mind.

Saturday Chair promises good times for all who attend! Why not sit down and work on balance and breathing? The chair builds confidence and mastery in tree pose and warrior poses because we use the chair as a balancing tool. We even do cardio with "running chair"...yes this is a thing! I am here to make your Saturday routine invigorating and spicy!

This advanced class comes with a safety word. The safety word is crockpot. We devote time and detail to understanding how the poses link together to create stamina in the hips and low back. I focus on the back chain of the body. We also attend to back flexibility through stow core sequences. Come with questions, we are diving deep into the "how" of the poses. At the end, you'll have your "why" answered. The why is to sleep well and well relaxed for the evening and Monday morning.
