Emotions, thoughts, and the physical body are deeply connected and are constantly interacting with and influencing each other. This four week course is designed to teach participants skills to monitor and manage their emotions, thoughts, and bodies to help with anxiety, depression, and the symptoms associated with trauma. The skills that will be taught include breathing techniques, mindfulness, movement, focus, compassion, meditation, guided imagery, and basic yoga postures.
