Kids Empowered

Our Dragon Academy Packages include our weekly DC FUN events, a 30 minutes Zoom meeting with Drew, and DC Saturday events.

Dragon Club FUN: Boys will have fun and CONNECTION with Coach Drew.  Playing Legos, doing Mind Craft, watching movies, and sharing about favorite comic books, superheroes, and life all while learning social skills and emotional management.     

Every Tuesday from 6:30-7:30 ($60 individually)


Dragon Club Connection: once a week boy connects with Drew by Zoom or phone at a weekly scheduled time ½ hour check-in. Connection time will include discussing successes, goals, struggles, social skills, and managing frustrations.


Dragon Club Saturdays: these will be done in person outside unless COVID restrictions dictate otherwise. If outside or large inside space is not an option, we will do it by Zoom.

Third Saturday of every month.

1:00-2:30 outside/inside or 1:00-2:00 by Zoom.

Kids Empowered Assertiveness Package

Girls and boys will learn about being a powerful person while being kind & true to themselves. Learn what it means to be assertive in speaking & actions. Assertiveness is a skill & needs to be practiced. Kids will learn how to be a problem solver, manage conflict, & stand up for themselves and others.



Starter package: Five one-hour sessions include one parent session and four kid sessions (with or without parents). We will guide you to identify areas needed to work on developing the skill of assertiveness. Areas examined include self-esteem, shyness, passiveness, aggressiveness, anxiety, past experiences, and the environment. The next phase is coming up with a plan to work on developing the skills of assertiveness. The plan and session work includes role-plays to work on tone, body language and words, ways to handle friendship/peer situations, poster activities and outside activities to assertiveness.

Once we identify the areas needed to build assertiveness. Weekly sessions will include activities to work on needed skills, successes, and barriers to progress and assessing the progress of outside work.

You do not know where to start! Your kids might be dealing with low self-esteem, anger, stress, sibling conflict, ADHD, isolation, or a number of challenges. This package will help you figure out a plan to identify the problems and ways to address the areas with skill-building or outside activities to do.

Kids Empowered “I don’t know where to begin!” package

You do not know where to start! Your kids might be dealing with low self-esteem, anger, stress, sibling conflict, ADHD, isolation, or a number of challenges. This package will help you figure out a plan to identify the problems and ways to address the areas with skill-building or outside activities to do.

3-Month Package: Weekly one-hour sessions include one parent session and four kid sessions (with or without parents). Kids will learn the do’s & don’ts for friendship. They will learn how to talk to their friends in sticky situations & set boundaries. Many kids are dealing with hot/cold friends & unhealthy relationships. It is important for kids to practice the skills of setting boundaries & having healthy relationships with their friends to set the foundation for having healthy relationships in the future when they are dating. Setting boundaries, dealing with conflict & sticky situations are skills that need to be practiced. Kids will learn words to say, tone of voice, & body language to use. Kids will make a Friendship kit & role play.

Kids Empowered from Frustrated to Empowered

Stress, frustration, and disappointment are at an all-time high with the current situation.

Many kids react emotionally to stressful sticky situations with peers, friends, and to conflict with siblings and parents. Reacting negatively to sticky situations often makes the situation worse.



Starter package: Five one-hour sessions include one parent session and four kid sessions (with or without parents). We will guide you to identify the problem, areas where we can minimize or eliminate the frustrations, and ways to manage the frustration when other factors cannot be changed. Kids and parents will learn how to identify sticky situations and ways to manage their emotions. The Kids Empowered Stop, Think and Go, The Bubble, and Mindfulness activities will be taught to use at home.

Kids Empowered from Frustrated to Empowered
