Montgomery County Recreation will begin allowing two swimmers per lane as of April 1, 2021. Lanes are for universal use and patrons may share a lane with an individual who is exercising a different way. Neither exercise should interfere with another. Both swimmers will need a reservation and do not need to be related or reside in the same household. Swimmers will stagger entrance into the lane from the same end of the pool. Second swimmer may enter the lane once initial swimmer has begun exercise with either their face in the water or a distance of 6 feet from entry point. Patrons are expected to share a lane and to be patient while entering. Exiting the lane will also be staggered. The lane will be split down the middle and swimmers will remain on the same side up and down the lane (no circle swimming).
Aquatic fitness rooms (aka weight rooms) will re-open for individual use on Monday, March 1. Reservations will be for 45 minutes. Two members of the same household may use the room together. Masks must be worn in the fitness room. Fitness room reservations do not allow access to pool.
Reservations are open seven days in advance and up to the hour on the eighth day. Reservations beyond the eighth day to the hour will not be visible.
All patrons must have a reservation to use the facility.
