On the occasion of her solo exhibition at ICA LA, Jacqueline Kiyomi Gork has invited artist and friend Adee Roberson to play the drums outside of Into/Loving/Against/Lost in the Loop, a sound installation which features an electronic beat generated from live audio pulled from the surrounding galleries. Listen as Roberson’s beats are remixed, distorted, and amplified into another kind of “beat” as you walk through the Project Room’s sonic maze.
