SLU FLU Vaccination

We are so excited to have you on campus this Fall!

Saint Louis University is offering free FLU shots for our students, faculty, and staff regardless of insurance status. If you are not a student, faculty member or staff member, you are more than welcome to make an appointment but will need to have your insurance card present at time of appointment.

Your consent form (found here)
Your insurance card (if you have it)
Loose fitting clothing

FLU fast facts:

According to the CDC, the flu vaccine is the best way to reduce your chance of getting the flu, doctors’ visits, hospitalizations and has been shown to be life-saving and spreading it to others. Help out this flu season and get vaccinated!
Getting a flu vaccine this year is as important as ever. The flu vaccine not only helps protect you and the SLU community but also helps reduce the strain on hospitals and healthcare systems.
It takes about two weeks for your body to build immunity to the flu after getting a flu shot, so that's another reason why it's important to be vaccinated early before flu shows up in the community.

If you would like to record your FLU shot record, you can do so by uploading it to the vaccination portal. Students in clinical placements may be required to submit the record due to the program they are in and should be uploaded to CastleBranch. Please reach out to your clinical coordinator with questions.
