We also provide Case management/Delegating Nurse Consulting to Assisted Living Facilities in Maryland per COMAR 10.07.14 including Instructor for the Certified Medication Technician Training (CMT), a critical role needed at Assisted Living Facilities.

Rashauna Nichols is an Alumnae of the Illustrious North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing.
Ms. Nichols has practiced as an Registered Nurse with over a decade of experience, with varied skill sets ranging from Med-Surg, PCU, Telemetry, PACU, ICU, Occupational Health, and Ambulatory and Outpatient services.
Rashauna is immensely passionate about providing a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment for our post-op surgical clients!

How do I book a course?

2. Choose Class, Date and time - MUST email heartworkservicesllc@gmail.com directly the day/time slot you registered for. If you do not see availability please email directly.
3.A deposit of $25 or $50 is required once your seat is reserved in order to secure your chosen time.
Classes are flexible, so please email or call us with any questions.
Evening classes are available upon request.
Do you offer Skills Only Courses?
Absolutely! Skills-only sessions are offered for ALL CPR Courses.

Do I need a Course Manual?
If you are attending an instructor-led BLS Provider Course, The American Heart Association requires students to have access to the course materials before, during, and after the course.

If you are completing a blended online course you DO NOT need a book.
If you are attending instructor-led course such as First Aid, CPR AED, you DO NOT need to purchase a book.
If you need any materials for the course you are taking it will be provided to you on the day of class.
Dress Code
Please dress comfortably and in weather appropriate clothing.
How and when will I receive my certification?
You will receive your certification as an ecard to your email address provided, within 24 hrs if not sooner.
(Typically, you will receive same day after class)
When does my certification expire?
Two-year renewals are required for ALL Courses in order to stay current and compliant.
I am having trouble activating my online course
Once you've logged in, click on the URL link in your confirmation email. If you are unable to click on the link, copy/paste the entire URL into your browser. Do not enter the given link into the keycode box (where it says activate a keycode).
Once a keycode is activated, it cannot be activated again, but rather should be showing up under your "Active Courses."
It is recommended by the AHA that you use Chrome as your browser and that you use a PC, laptop or tablet (rather than a smartphone). You will need a flash player, and disable pop-up blocker

How can I get continuing education credits?
If you completed an online course, you can retrieve the continuing education certificate via the eLearning website https://cpr.heart.org/en/resources/faqs/need-to-claim-your-aha continuing education-credits.

Payments/Cancellations
We have a no refund policy. You must call 24 hours before class to reschedule. Notify the instructor of any unforeseen circumstances affecting your arrival time.
A delay in arrival exceeding 15 minutes past the appointed start time will result in a cancellation of the appointment
A rescheduled class is based upon the instructors availability.
There is a $25 rescheduling fee that must be paid in order to schedule another class at a later date.
No call no shows will result in NO REFUNDS or registering for future classes.
Refunds are only issued if the instructor cancels the class. A deposit is required at registration and the balance is due at the time of the course.
