Prenatal massage techniques ease many of the discomforts of pregnancy, ease the physiological and emotional well-being of the mother and the fetus. It can also reduce the duration of labor in some cases. I use a wonderful system called the Body Cushion that enables most women to safely and comfortably lay face down, which many report feels like a massage unto itself. Women must be in at least their second trimester to receive massage.
