Booking Policy
I ONLY ACCEPT THIN LACE (HD or Transparent). I DO NOT WORK WITH WIGS WITH BIG KNOTS. I DO NOT ACCEPT 4X4 CLOSURES. ALL CLOSURES MUST BE 5X5 & HIGHER. My goal is to give you the best results possible with a long-lasting outcome. I want you to feel & look your best. In order to do so, the key is a good lace!

Payment
A security deposit of $25 is required to complete the booking process for wig & lace services (excluding frontal braids & frontal locs).
A security deposit of $50 is required to complete the booking process for knotless braids & loc services (including frontal braids & frontal locs).
This deposit will be deducted from your final cost. All payments are to be made offline. Therefore, once your appointment is booked, you must send your security deposit via CashApp, Zelle, or Apple Pay within 0 to 60 minutes (1 hour) of booking to the contacts listed below. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of your appointment.
AFTER BOOKING & SENDING YOUR DEPOSIT, YOU MUST TEXT A PHOTO/SCREENSHOT OF YOUR COMPLETED TRANSACTION TO +1 (929) 232-0808.

When Do I Drop-off My Hair?!
ALL HAIR MUST BE LABELED WITH YOUR NAME & APPOINTMENT DATE & TIME.
Hair for services that do not require coloring or wig creation MUST be dropped off 2-3 DAYS in advance between the hours of 10AM and 7PM.
If you have booked a coloring or wig creation service, your hair must be dropped off 4-5 DAYS in advance between the hours of 10AM and 7PM.
If late, you will be charged $15 per day you are late. Hair that is dropped-off one day prior to your appointment will not be accepted. Please read the section titled "Lateness" for more details.
How Do I Prepare For My Appointment?
ALL clients are required to arrive to his/her appointment with his/her hair COMPLETELY washed & blown, with product-free hair.
EXCEPTION TO THE RULE: If you are completely natural and are refraining from heat usage, you must arrive with your hair WASHED, DETANGLED, FULLY DRIED, and STRETCHED (does not apply to locs or braids).
SevenStarStyles is a HOME-BASED business, you are REQUIRED to remove your shoes upon entry. Please be prepared.
Location
The address for all appointments will be sent out 6 days prior to scheduled date. If you have booked an appointment less than 9 days in advance, kindly text +1 (929) 232-0808 to receive the address. Once you book, you have agreed to keep this information confidential.
Covid-19
As mandated by the CDC, I have completed my Barbicide training & continue to practice multiple safety precautions such as sanitizing workspace and tools before and after each client, wearing a protective mask to prevent the spread of germs & bacteria, and deep cleaning at the end of each work day.
ALL CLIENTS MUST WEAR A PROTECTIVE FACE MASK.
Lateness
Day of appointment
Each client is allotted a 5-minute grace period. After this time has passed, you will be charged $1/PER MINUTE until you arrive. If you exceed 30 minutes, your appointment will be cancelled.
(i.e. if your appointment is scheduled for 10:00am, you will be given until 10:05am to arrive. You will then be charged beginning at 10:06am. If you have not arrived by 10:30am, your appointment will be canceled).
THIS CONDITION MAY ONLY BE ALTERED UNDER EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS. If you are running late, please let me know at least 15 minutes in advance.
Day of Hair Drop Off
When booking a coloring or wig creation service, you are required to drop-off your hair 4-5 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT. If you exceed day 4, you will be charged a fee of $15 for EACH DAY you are late. Once you exceed day 2, your appointment will be CANCELLED (i.e. If you're scheduled for April 25TH and your hair isn't dropped off by April 23RD, your appointment will be cancelled).
Cancellation Policy
If your appointment is cancelled by me, your deposit will be fully refunded.
If your appointment is cancelled by you, you have the option to be refunded 50% of your deposit ($12.50 (lace) or $25.00 (braids & locs)) OR to credit it towards a future appointment (meaning I will keep the deposit). The credit will be valid for 90 days.
If you are a No Call No Show, you will be prohibited from any future bookings.

*Please be sure to provide your cap size when booking a wig creation (i.e small - 21", medium - 22", large- -23").
How do I measure my head?
Using inches, measure the circumference of your head with a measuring tape, beginning with the lowest end on the center of your frontal lobe (forehead) and making your way behind your ears, around your nape, behind your opposite ear, and ending on the center of your forehead.
*Please be sure to choose your preferred part in the "add-on" section when booking.
What do I need to bring to my appointment?
All hair must be dropped off in advance. Therefore, the only thing needed on appointment day is your payment balance, bundles (if you're getting a sew-in), FULLY washed & blown hair, and yourself!
*Some clients choose to bring concealer or a makeup palette to be safe, however it is not mandatory.
*A minimum of 2 bundles are required for shorter lengths (10"-16"), 3 for normal lengths (18"-24,") and 4 for longer lengths (26"+).
