Free hearing and vision screenings are available for children ages 3 to 21.

HIV rapid testing available for free at Livingston County Health Department. Appointments generally last 30 minutes, however the appointment may last up to an hour. Testing is completed confidentially by a registered nurse. You must be 13 years or older to obtain HIV testing.

LCHD offers all childhood immunizations and many immunizations for adults. LCHD currently accepts Medicaid, Medicare, Tricare, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan insurances; all other insurances, please call for current pricing. Note: LCHD does not offer travel immunizations.

Note: A $40 fee will be collected at time of test administration. We do not bill insurance for this service. A follow-up appointment is required 48 hours after your initial appointment. Follow-up appointments are automatically scheduled after your initial appointment.

Parents/guardians of preschool/daycare, kindergarten, and 7th grade students and new school entrants who wish to waive or delay routine childhood immunizations for their child(ren) are required to complete a Waiver Appointment. LCHD cannot provide medical contraindication waivers; if your child cannot receive a vaccination due to a medical reason, please request a Medical Contraindication Waiver Form from your child's medical provider.
