This is to request an appointment for the Shingles vaccine Shingrix. Patients 50 years and older are eligible. Medicare A/B does not cover the cost of this vaccine, but private insurance or Medicare D may help cover the cost. The vaccine is given in two doses with the second dose given 2 to 6 months after the first.
