Sports Therapy Assessment and Treatment with Katie

Your first treatment with Katie will require you to have a full assessment to go through your social and medical history, highlight areas for improvement and any pain or injuries you're want to work on. She'll review your posture and gait, range of motion on injured joints.
Sports Therapy with Katie
A Sports Therapy session will utilise a combination of techniques. These sessions will require patient participation, as we will use stretching and exercise rehabilitation alongside massage and taping techniques if required
Sports Massage with Katie
A focused deep tissue massage in a targeted problem area. Multiple massage techniques will be used to reach an improvement in range of motion and pain relief. We will aim to make these sessions relaxing, however at times some discomfort may be felt.
Post Exercise Massage with Katie
A focused massage session, specifically focusing on easing muscle stress after exercise. Ideally to be carried within 3 hours of exercising, but beneficial up to 24 hours after. These sessions use a lighter pressure and cooling ice massage to soothe the post exercise aches. Massage is a perfect addition to your exercise regime and is proven to assist in the prevention of DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Spasms)
