This Moderna Covid vaccine shot is the same as Shots 1 & 2 in a lesser quantity. This shot is 0.25mL vs shots 1 & 2 that are 0.5mL. Your Booster should be at least 4 months from your last Covid vaccine. Your 3rd shot can be for anyone over 18 and your 4th is currently approved for any immune compromised person 18+ or anyone not compromised and 50+.

The CDC has approved booster dose for patients who completed their primary vaccinations (2 doses) of PFIZER at least 4 months prior and meet certain criteria. 3rd boosters are approved for those 12 and older and 4th boosters are approved for those 12+ and compromised or 50+ and non-compromised. The Shingles vaccine is a 2 part shot. It requires a 2nd shot after 60-180 days of the first.
***Most insurances cover the some or all of the cost of each shot for those 50 and older.
