Hour-long guided tour adaptable to all grade levels. Introduces students to the CMA's collection areas, close-looking practices, generating questions and talking about art.

Gallery Exploration: Guided, thematic tour

1 hour

Adaptable to all grade levels. Sparks curiosity and critical thinking. Builds social-emotional skills by connecting students with artworks and each other. Topics include: Creativity & Problem Solving; Expressing Ideas; Historic Connections; and Social Emotional Learning Through Art.

K-12 Self-guided Tour

1 hour 30 minutes

Self-guided student groups are always welcome at the CMA. Large classes or groups should divide into smaller groups of 10–15 students, each with an adult chaperone. To request self-guided resource materials or help with planning your visit, email SchoolPrograms@clevelandart.org.

Live, interactive video sessions with a CMA educator to introduce the museum and prepare you for your in-person visit. Programs can be delivered via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet.

30 minutes @ $30.00

Live, interactive video sessions with a CMA educator. Explore artworks through discussion, writing, drawing, and movement. Programs can be delivered via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet.

Topics include: Choose Your Own Adventure; Creativity & Problem Solving; Expressing Ideas; Historic Connections; Look & Discover: Intro to the CMA; Play & Experimentation; and Social Emotional Learning Through Art.

University Group Self-Guided Tour

Faculty are welcome to bring their students to the museum and must register their visit using the online registration form below.

Widen your perspective by taking a 15-minute tour of our gallery space and learn about the Community Arts Center. Strengthen your creative muscles with an art making experience in our studio room led by our staff members. All ages and artistic abilities are welcome.
