Summer/Fall 2025 NWFSC Registration Appointment with Ms. McKie @ Walton High School
This is Ms. McKie's virtual appointment book for dual enrollment appointments for Northwest Florida State College (NWFSC). All appointments are scheduled as face-to- face appointments in the Main Office. Parent/Guardian participation in meetings are highly encouraged.

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT with Ms. McKie:
- Make sure you meet the minimum academic eligibility requirements
- NWFSC = a cumulative unweighted GPA of a 3.0+ and meet all placement test scores (Pert, ACT, CLT, or SAT)
- 1st time NWFSC dual enrollment students ONLY: Apply online for Dual Enrollment at NWFSC.edu .For a step to step guide, go to the dual enrollment link below. This process will issue you a NWFSC Raidernet ID number within 72 hours of submitting your application online. You need to have your Raidernet ID number prior to meeting with Ms. McKie to register for dual enrollment classes.

BRING TO YOUR APPOINTMENT with Ms. McKie:
- NWFSC Dual Enrollment:
- Raidernet ID number,
- 1ST TIME DUAL ENROLLMENT STUDENT:
- Placement Test Score Result Sheets (PERT, ACT, CLT, or SAT)
- RETURNING DUAL ENROLLMENT STUDENT:
- Your researched list of courses (with courses numbers, location of class, meeting days and time)
- If your parent/ guardian is interested in attending a meeting with the guidance counselor about dual enrollment, please make sure that they are able to make your meeting time with you.
- You are responsible for showing up to the appointment at your appointment time, we will not disrupt class to call you down to the office.
- RETURNING DUAL ENROLLMENT STUDENTS: Please meet with a NWFSC academic navigator (at least one time a year) prior to your meeting with Ms. McKie to discuss with them your program of study. They will be able to make sure you are headed in the right direction for your AA degree. They can recommended courses that you still need to take to complete you AA degree. Walton High School recommends Student Success Navigator, who is located at the DeFuniak Springs NWFSC campus. Call: 850-200-4183 to make an appointment.
- You must have an active NWFSC raidernet ID number to registration of course for NWFSC. “ACTIVE” is defined as is currently enrolled this semester in NWFSC courses. If you do not have a “active” NWFSC raidernet ID number, you will need to reapply, see first bullet point on the 1st time dual student for instructions. If you do not have an “active” NWFSC raidernet ID number when you submit your registration form, your enrollment process will be significantly delayed and your seat in requested course will not be saved.

First day of Summer/Fall Dual Enrollment Appointments with Ms. McKie will be Monday, March 24th @ 8:00am.
Online Appointment Book will become live to make appointments on Monday, March 10th, 2025.
Please note: NWFSC is not open on Fridays. Any appointments made on Thursday afternoons and/or Fridays, your pre-approval form will not be processed by NWFSC until Monday.
Please make sure you have passing placement scores for NWFSC Dual Enrollment AND completed the NWFSC Canvas Dual Enrollment Course (new DE students) prior to making your Dual Enrollment Appointment with Ms. McKie.
