We are a located in the heart of Laurel, Maryland near the intersection of Rt 197 and Cherry Lane.
At HairCUSTOMIZED you are provided with more than the “standard” salon experience. We offer a combination of natural hair care, luxury natural hair extension, and makeup artistry experiences designed specifically to you.
Our salon experience will always include private and customized consultations, scheduling, pricing, and one-on-one visits.
HairCUSTOMIZED is a chemical-free zone created to prove you can enhance your natural beauty without having to alter it's natural balance. IMPORTANT INFORMATION
for
NEW Client and/or TRANSFER Clients
( Read BEFORE Scheduling Your Hair Appointment )
At HairCUSTOMIZED, we believe if it takes less time to complete your service, it should cost you less. Therefore, only starting prices are provided in the description of each of the services we provide.
As a New Client and/or Transfer Client, your customized service price will only be provide to you after your client consultation as been completed. And all services provided by HairCUSTOMIZED will be personally customized to the individual receiving service:
Your customized pricing will includes the:
- Type of service selected
- Thickness of your hair
- Part size chosen (if applicable)
- Length of your hair
- Length of any extensions added
A hair consultation appointment is required for ALL New and/or Transfer Clients, and must be completed prior to scheduling a hair appointment.
1.) Click on the "Consultation" category and choose your consultation type.
2.) The system will not allow for you to book an appointment, only hair consultations. In the event it does, our Admin will remove your appointment and will reach out to you via telephone and email to reschedule a consultation.
3.) After completion of your Consultation, a customized Estimate of Services will be sent to you confirming the results of our conversation.
4.) Once you have electronically "accepted" your estimate in the system, you will receive another email with an invoice requesting a deposit be made to confirm your appointment slot (date and time).
❖ MOST Belle Microloc Extension Installation services are typically scheduled a approximately 30 days after your consultation.
This is to allot for the time needed to purchase and receive delivery of the hair extensions required for your service.
❖ To ensure the quality of our work, there is NO options of supplying your own Belle Microloc Extension hair.
❖ Adding or making changes to your appointment the day of your appointment can not be accommodated.
If you have questions, desire a change/update to your service, or desire to add an additional service to your appointment, please call or text us no less than 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time.
❖ There are no refunds of monies paid on any Microloc, Sisterlocks, Sew-in, or Braid services once the service has begun.
❖ Children are allowed only when being serviced.
❖ No call / no show for any hair appointments will be blocked from future appointments, and no refund of monies paid will be issued.
DEPOSITS
All services require a deposit to book. Clients will be required to save a credit card to their profile at the time of booking
- 25% for any service with a service time of 4 hours or less
- 50% for any service with a service time above 4 hours
DETANGLING FEE
Please take braids out and wash at home prior to coming in. BE SURE TO ARRIVE TO YOUR APPOINTMENT WITH YOUR HAIR FULLY DETANGLED. A $1 per minute detangle fee will be added to your service for any time required to detangle your hair prior to servicing. The need to reschedule or cancel your appointment will be left to the discretion of your stylist, if you arrive at your appointment without your hair not taken down and fully detangled. In the event your appointment is rescheduled or cancelled the day of your appointment due to detangling, our Hair Customized Cancelation and/or Rescheduling Policy will remain in full effect.
COVID POLICY
Clients will be required to wear a mask upon entry and during your visit. Temperatures will be checked upon entering the Salon. Anyone with a temperature above 99 degrees Fahrenheit, will be turned away for service and asked to reschedule.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event an appointment is canceled 8 calendar days or more in advance, a full refund of your deposit will be given AND you will be given the option to reschedule.
In the event an appointment is canceled between 3 - 7 calendar days of your appointment slot, 50% of your deposit will be retained.
In the event an appointment is canceled within 48 hours of your appointment slot, 75% of your deposit will be retained.
In the event an appointment is canceled within 24 hours of your appointment slot, 100% of your deposit will be retained with no option to reschedule.
For prepaid customers (i.e., Gift Certificates, Promotions and/or Groupons), all appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 72 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment slot. At that time, you will be given the option to reschedule. (This is a one time courtesy.)
RESCHEDULING POLICY
Rescheduling an appointment is a capability granted to you via the link in your appointment confirmation email AND if you download the Acuity Client app and create a HairCUSTOMIZED profile within the app.
ADMIN OVERRIDESAn Admin Override appointment is an appointment created or rescheduled by a member of the HC Team if the system will no longer allow you to reschedule on your own without our assistance. This is typically the case when:
- clients fail to pay a deposit for services booked via a Square invoice within 48 hours of your appointment slot (also known as an appointment "placeholder appointments")
- clients attempt to reschedule via the Acuity Booking System within 48 hours of your appointment slot
Please be advised this is ONE TIME COURTESY for all clients and customers. When allowed to reschedule, your deposit will be rolled over to your new appointment slot. Afterwards the HC Cancellation Policy mentioned above will come into effect.
LATE POLICY
In the event you are aware you will be late, please extend the courtesy of a telephone call to inform your stylist.
A 15-minute grace period is all that is permitted. After the 15-minute mark, your appointment can be canceled at the discretion of your stylist, and your non-refundable deposit will be retained. You will have the option of rescheduling your appointment when there is availability, and a $50 convenience fee will also be added to your rescheduled service.
NO CALL / NO SHOWS
All No calls / No Shows will result in the retaining of your full deposit (100%) of your deposit and NO FURTHER APPOINTMENT OPPORTUNITIES WILL BE GRANTED. Your profile will be blocked from booking in with us in the future.
ACCEPTABLE FORMS OF PAYMENT
Cash / Credit Card / Debit Card / Zelle / Paypal (traditional, later & credit) / AfterPay
- A processing fee of 6% will be applied to any service or products paid via credit card.
- Check PayPal.com and AfterPay.com for their terms and conditions.
We ask that tips be paid in the form of cash whenever possible.
