What getting a reading from me is like:
This is a collaborative process. We are interpreting your chart together. My job as an astrologer is to ask the right questions, to reframe things through the chart, and to connect your experience of life to the language of astrology.
Before each reading, I ask you to reflect on your goals for the session and the purpose that you bring to the session. For each session, my purpose is to learn about you and from you and to hold a space in which we can create new knowledge together.
Your natal chart is a chart that is constantly in motion—that is why, whether you are booking an initial session or a follow up, we are always looking at the chart through the lens of the present. We always focus on what is changing at the moment and how change impacts the entirety of your chart.
All readings are currently virtual and conducted through Zoom.
Storytelling with Astrology
This is a session available for those who have worked with me before or already have some expertise with their natal chart. We use your natal chart to create fictional characters, a fictional world, a fictional scene, a story, or all of the above. We will be using embodied, cognitive, or cathartic storytelling techniques that are most comfortable for you. You will leave the session with tools to access your imagined world when you most need it.
Bazi Reading
Bazi is an ancient divination practice that comes from the great plains between the Yellow and Yangtze rivers. Your bazi chart is a series of eight characters or four pillars that tell an ecological story about your life and psyche. In a bazi consultation, we talk about your ancestors, your multiple lineage, and the relationship dynamics that form your being.
Terms of service:
All sessions are confidential and the things you share with me never leave the session. I will never share names or details about you with anyone. If I ever process my own experience of a session with a trusted friend or mentor, I will never share information from you but only my own feelings (“I felt inspired by a session”, “I thought about these questions after a session”) unless I have your express permission. There have been times when I processed a session retrospectively with a mentor to help me grow as an astrologer but only with explicit permission from the client and without any names used.
I am not a medical practitioner, lawyer, or financial expert. There are astrologers who are these things but I am not one of them. I never give medical, legal, or financial advice.
All session are on Zoom and you are able to record when you are using Zoom through the app on a computer.
I can provide payment plans when needed.
Cancellation/rescheduling policy:
I understand that people need to reschedule sessions for work, illness, or other life events. However, rescheduling sessions can be tricky especially when they are needed without much notice.
RESCHEDULING: If you have booked a session and need to reschedule, I offer one reschedule option per booking when done with 48 hours notice. If you are experiencing an emergency such as waking up sick, we can reschedule without the 48 hours advance notice. I charge a $30 rescheduling fee unless you are having an emergency.
CANCELLATION: If you need to cancel a booking and give me at least 72 hours notice, I will give you a full refund. If you do not show up for the session without notice, I do not refund you.
RUNNING LATE: I wait 15 minutes for folks who are running late but am unable to wait any longer than that. Folks who show up more than 15 minutes late for a session are considered to be no-shows. I do not offer refunds for no shows.
Basically, the time we spend together is precious and I ask that you respect it. This respect goes both ways. I keep appointments on my end and schedule my life around them. If I do need to reschedule due to an emergency, I will offer you $30 back to keep it equal because that is the same rescheduling fee I would ask of you if you need to reschedule. If I experience an emergency or wake up sick day of, I will offer rescheduling or a full refund if you don’t want to reschedule.
