Booking Policy

At the time of booking, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold your date and time. Your session fee deposit can be made by debit or credit card via Square. Appointments made without a deposit may not be honored and are subject to cancellation. Payment of the deposit acts as an agreement to all of Jazzshotit's policies. Consultations are required after booking your photoshoot.

Payment Policy

Sessions must be paid in full prior to the shoot date or immediately after the shoot via cash or Square.

Late Fee

An additional $20 surcharge will be added to all sessions where the client is more than 15 minutes late, and $40 when the client is more than 30 minutes late.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to make your portrait session, all deposits will act as a cancellation fee. A 48-hour advance notice of cancellation is required to credit the deposit towards a future session. The photographer reserves the right to deny service to any client(s) with a history of repeated cancellations. If Jazzshotit cannot perform this contract due to fire or other casualty, strike, or other causes beyond the control of the parties, or due to the photographer's illness or emergency, the photographer shall return the retainer fee to the client but shall have no further liability with respect to the contract. This also applies if photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera or other media malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the photographer. In the event Jazzshotit fails for any other reason, Jazzshotit shall not be liable for any amount exceeding all monies paid.

Model Release

The client hereby assigns Jazzshotit the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish photographs of the client, or in which the client may be included, for editorial, trade, advertising, educational, and any other purpose and in any manner and medium; to alter the same without restriction; and to copyright the same without restriction. The client releases all claims to profits that may arise from the use of images.

Payment of the deposit constitutes agreement to Jazzshotit's policies and procedures.
