DNRT Adventure: Slocum River Reserve: 10/5/24: 9:30 a.m.

DNRT's Slocum River Reserve offers beautiful farm views of the Slocum River with gentle slopes and only a couple moments of precarious footing. This is a hidden gem, often less trafficked than the more popular Destruction Brook up the road. The Standard Adventure will be guided along mainly the perimeter of the Reserve, with a guided path through a hunting zone. Be sure to wear your blaze orange! Ticks can be heavy here, please use spray.

When Adventure Tadhg first moved to Southcoast Massachusetts, this state forest was an amazing discovery. Boasting miles of trails and fire roads; you could easily spend days exploring all of its nooks and crannies! Being an outsider, he was unaware of Freetown Forest's mystical legends, and even now, Adventure Club has come up short in our endless pursuit of the elusive Pukwudgie! We will begin this Adventure at Fighting Rock Corner in Fall River, MA.
