Online Classes

Online classes are 2.5 hours and hosted through Zoom. The lessons are designed to help you prepare to bake alongside Chef Alex and your classmates, or watch the video and bake later. Prior to each class, Chef Alex will share an email with a list of ingredients or baking essentials needed to complete the recipes. After class, an email will be sent out with the recorded Zoom. The video can be watched at your convenience and when you are ready to make the breads at home, in the comfort of your own kitchen.

In-Person Classes

Our in-person classes are 5-6 hours, and are open to beginners and professional bakers alike. Classes are hosted in Duarte, California at the Baking Evolution, School of Baking. Classes typically start at 8 am PST, unless arranged otherwise.

All ingredients and essential baking tools are provided for each student, including a 6-quart Kitchen aide stand mixer and Breville electric convection oven. Chef Alex will review the ingredients and their functionality throughout the baking process in each recipe. You'll be guided step-by-step through mixing and preparing the doughs and will have the opportunity to take your baked creations home to friends and family.
