We believe in the power of prayer, and offering a Mass for someone is one of the most significant forms of prayer in our faith. By offering a Mass for someone, we ask for God's grace and mercy to be poured upon that person. We believe that this act unites us with the person or the soul of a deceased loved one to provide spiritual, emotional, and even physical aid. It is a powerful means of interceding on their behalf before God.

Traditionally, Masses are offered for the repose of the soul of a loved one. However, that is not a requirement.

Note: Masses are generally celebrated at the following locations:

St. Columba:

  • Sundays at 8 and 11 am

  • Daily Masses on Wednesday and Friday

  • Daily Mass first Saturday of the Month

  • Sanctuary Candle (on display for one week beginning on Mondays)

Holy Family

  • Saturday Vigil Mass

  • Sundays at 9:30

  • Daily Masses on Tuesday and Thursday

  • Sanctuary Candle (on display for one week beginning on Mondays)
