Make either a pint glass, rocks glass, a small vase, or a bowl. In this experience you will learn how a punty transfer works, and will also learn to open a vessel by hand with the glassblowing jacks.

We look forward to you joining us at Local Art Glass for beginner classes or studio rentals! We plan on expanding our program to include kiln glass, fusing, and casting classes from beginning to advanced levels. We typically operate between 10 am to 5 pm. Scheduling outside of these hours may be available upon request.

When participating in a glassblowing experience, we suggest wearing closed-toe shoes and non-synthetic materials because if your clothing comes in contact with hot glass or an open flame, cotton smolders while synthetics melt. You don’t want melting clothing next to your skin. Local Art Glass will provide eye protection. Participants will need to sign a liability agreement before participating.
