IMPORTANT NOTE:
The results of your procedure is determined in part by the nature of the anatomy and physiology of the skin type, but not limited to the following factors:
- Medication you’re currently taking
- Skin characteristics; dryness, oiliness, thickness, sun-damage, colour, chemically damaged etc
- Natural skin undertones
- Personal PH balance of skin, tanning booths, fruit acids, AHA’s and Retin-A use
- Alcohol intake, smoking, sun exposure, improper skin care
- Following Pre and Post instructions
- In some cases, these factors can or may interfere with acceptance and fading of pigment colour
CONSENT TO PROCEDURE:
CONSULTATION:
I recommend that you book a consultation with me if you have any concerns or questions about the services. Please select a consultation time accordingly. Meetings will be completed via video call from nouveaucanvas@gmail.com. If you are late for your consultation by 10min, the meeting will be cancelled and you will need to schedule another. A 48h notice for cancellation of an appointment is needed.
BOOKING POLICIES:
The policies are made to help provide you the best experience with the best possible results. By booking an appointment, you have read the above and are agreeing to following terms.
- DEPOSIT: A non-refundable booking deposit will be required to secure your initial appointment. The deposit will go towards your grand total where the remaining balance is due at the time of appointment. Deposit is non-transferable.
- RESCHEDULING: Appointments may be rescheduled one time. Please double-check your schedule to ensure you are available as all deposits are non-refundable. Touch up appointment rescheduling will be subjected to a $50 rescheduling fee.
- NO SHOWS: You will be charged 100% of the service if you do not show up for your appointment.
- CANCELLATIONS: If you need to cancel, please email me at nouveaucanvas@gmail.com. Cancellations within 72 hours will result in forfeiture of your deposit.
- LATE POLICY: A 15 minute grace period is offered as circumstances can happen. Appointments over 20 minutes late will be cancelled with deposit forfeited. Touch up appointments will be subjected to a rescheduling fee.
- GUEST POLICY: No children, pets or additional guests are allowed in the studio. Drivers and translators are allowed.
- PAYMENT: Visa and Debit are accepted for deposits. Please pay the remainder in cash at your appointment.
PREVIOUS EYEBROW TATTOOS DONE:
If you have previous work done by another artist, please email me photos so that I may see if I am able to correct/cover the previous work. In some cases, previous work done may not be fixable.
Please send three (3) clear photos of your full face with no makeup, unfiltered, in bright natural lighting to nouveaucanvas@gmail.com for review.

Booked appointments without pre-approval that cannot be worked on will result in a cancelled appointment with a non refundable and non transferable deposit.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR PERMANENT MAKEUP
- Age Requirements: 18+ years Old
- Must not have transmittable blood conditions or diseases such as Hepatitis or HIV/AIDS
- Must not be pregnant or breastfeeding
- Must not have skin allergies to pigments or makeup
- Must not have active skin concerns such as eczema, psoriasis or rashes in treatment area. Please schedule a patch test when your skin has healed. Email nouveaucanvas@gmail.com for next steps.
- Must not have viral infections such as sicknesses (cold, flu etc)
- Must be off Accutane for at least 12 months
- Must not be someone who has epilepsy who has experienced a faint spell or seizure within 3 years
- Must not be on a pacemaker, major heart problems or if you have severe Heart conditions, Uncontrolled High Blood Pressure, Poor general health
- Must not be on treatment, medication, or illness that compromises your immune system or healing would make you a poor candidate for micropigmentation procedures
